This year, according to Dental Assisting National Board, Inc., U.S. News and World Report, the Chicago Tribune and Forbes have listed dental assisting again as one of the top job (#17) opportunities in the United States.

U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has calculated that dental assisting will grow an estimated 18% over the next 10 years.

Dental assisting is never boring because each day requires interacting with patients creating a fast paced and interesting day.  It is an exciting time to become a dental assistant and be involved in the ever changing healthcare world where your skills and commitment are valued.

Being certified in dental assisting is recognized as a huge plus because there are ever expanding job functions that the certified or registered dental assistant is allowed to do by state law.
